Coronavirus cases are rising as officials report more than 100 thousand cases a day for the first time since early October. However, the CDC says most of those cases are from the delta variant -- not the new Omicron strain. And the World Health Organization (WHO) reports zero deaths so far from Omicron. The parents of the accused school shooter in Oxford, Michigan, are in custody after law enforcement tracked them down in Detroit. They've been charged with four counts each of involuntary manslaughter for allowing their son to have access to the gun. President Biden plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin tomorrow, as tensions rise between the two countries amid a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. Flags are at half-staff this morning for former Senate Republican Leader and presidential nominee Bob Dole, who passed away at age 98 over the weekend.
