This week's edition of Hockey Talk focuses on Dave's Washington Capitals. The Caps are off to a surprisingly strong start and sitting atop the Metropolitan Division. Along the way, Alex Ovechkin has gone on a goal-scoring run, and all of a sudden, the Great 8's quest to dethrone the Great One as the all-time leading goal scorer this season does not seem so far-fetched. Meanwhile, the Winnipeg Jets finally lost and then tallied off a few more wins to remain red-hot. At the other end of the spectrum, the early season woes of the Colorado Avalanche have both guys concerned that the Avs might be unable to right the ship.
