More shooting deaths in Chicago reported this week. The shooting death toll for November is now up to 16 halfway through the month. The third and fourth fatal shootings in the city this week were added to the statistics on Tuesday. No new names have been released at this time.
Governor Bruce Rauner has chosen the new acting director of the Illinois Department of Emergency Management. Rauner chose retired U.S. Navy Reserves captain and deputy director of the agency Joseph Klinger this week.
