Most of the time, business is referred to as a game, where the winner is the entrepreneur who finds success. In this case, the playing field is the market and the players within the game are the different companies and entrepreneurs competing for customers in the industry. Undoubtedly, competition in business is just as fierce as on a field, and the strengths of good entrepreneurs can be strikingly similar to successful athletes. There are similarities between the world of entrepreneurs and the world of athletes – parallels that can give direction to business owners who are trying to succeed on the playing field of economics. In this episode we discuss business as a mental game, mind-conditioning tricks athletes use to be successful in their sporting careers, and how entrepreneurs can apply this mentality to their businesses.
