I’ve watched the Ellen show over the years and Twitch was such a joyful and peaceful presence that lit up the whole show. He was a sensitive, kind soul, with so much love in his heart. So the news of his death was shocking to me. And as soon as that happened, I was really pulled to shoot a video on suicide and the spiritual understanding of it. I get a ton of questions about this topic and I’ve worked with many people who have dealt with suicidal ideation and even survived suicide attempts so this topic is especially raw for me. Also because it hits home. I almost died by suicide twice when I was a teenager so I know very well what it feels like to be in this head space.
