Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

Hello Hello Hello! This Part 2 of my punk rock preview of Euro 2024, the football tournament which will take place this summer in Germany. The idea is simple: 24 European nations are taking part in the tournament and I am playing a song by a punk band from each country participating in this sporting event. I have been doing these episodes for over 10 years and I try to avoid repeating the same bands from the same country. I also prefer playing songs sung in their home language. Hopefully all the bands sing nice things. This is Part 2 of the preview and I played bands from nations playing in Groups D to F: GROUP D: - Brixton Cats (France) - Blade Loki (Poland) - Wiens No.1 (Austria) - Lone Wolf (Netherlands) GROUP E: - For I Am (Belgium) - Adacta (Slovakia) - Las Poftas (Romania) - Re-Read (Ukraine) GROUP F: - Totalni nasazeni (Czech Republic) - Gerchi (Georgia) - Ugly Shadows (Turkey) - Asas da Vinganca (Portugal)
