A Clare auctioneer believes the State should build Florida-style retirement villages to cater to an element of the market currently being missed. The lackluster supply of second-hand homes in Clare has come to the fore as new analysis from MyHome.ie shows the number on the market here has dropped by 63% in the last ten years. Nationally, the number of second-hand properties for sale is down 50% in this period with Munster the worst affected province having experienced a 61% reduction.
