The Social Protection Minister wants every primary school student to be able to get a hot meal during the day by next year. Heather Humphreys says this is a key priority for her in the upcoming Budget. Two thousand schools are currently eligible for the Hot School Meals programme. Minister Humphreys says she wants to expand this to all schools. To discuss this further, Peter O'Connell was joined by Colm Davoren, Assistant Principal of CBS Primary School in Ennis and Peter Walsh, Principal of Conaire's Primary School in Shannon.
