On Wednesday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Morning Focus listener Toni McCarthy and Liam Grant, Green Party Councillor to discuss the issue of rats appearing on the Lahinch Promenade. Toni described the situation which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, where herself and her mother were greeted by 3 large rats on the prom, leading for them to leave the area. Green Party Councillor Liam Grant highlighted the risk of rats free roaming in public areas and urged the public to do their part and refrain from littering.
