The Taoiseach claims there are clear signs "we're beginning to have a system that works" when it comes to Ukrainian accommodation in Clare. The comments come following a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Shannon Airport. Ukrainian refugees living in Shannon and Kilbaha have been informed in recent weeks of the Government's decision to terminate its contracts with their accommodation providers. Simon Harris says while he admits disruption has been caused to the lives of Ukrainians living in this county, hotels and B&Bs coming back into use should be welcomed.
