On this show, I am joined by Academy award-winning special make-up effects artist Howard Berger who has worked on movies/shows such as The Walking Dead, Drag Me To Hell, Hostel, 13 Ghosts and so much more.
His co-author Marshall Julius is a film critic, blogger, broadcaster, and author of books such as Vintage Geek and Action! The Action Movie A-Z.
Their new book Masters of Make-up Effects is a deep-dove into the fascinating world of SFX make-up in a stunning illustrated oral history of the art form.
Who better than Howard, who has over 800 feature film credits, and Marshall who devoted his life to the film/tv industry to tell the untold stories from cult classics like 'An American Werewolf In London & 'The Thing'. The book features hundreds of never before seen, behind-the-scenes photos of some of the most iconic make-up effects of all time.
