The uprising of urban act Click22 happened by chance, when two twenty year olds, C-Jay Morrison, from Hawarden, and Owen 'Prospekt' Davies, who hails from Mold, reunited after almost a decade of no contact. The vision of forming a group together sparked from the rekindling of their old friendship combined with a shared passion for music, not to mention both their incredible talents for writing and recording songs, making Click22 one of the most compelling new musical acts in the North West. Inspired by artists such as Day 26 (US) and Ndubz (UK), Click22's signature sound is one of addictive base, skillfully blended with soulful lyrics, provoking instantly memorable tunes. They wrote and recorded their first song 'Get Down', in one sitting in their make-shift music studio constructed in Prospekt's bedroom, which is where they created their original songs with impressive quality, and they haven't stopped working since. Starting out by playing gigs when and wherever they could to gain a following, Prospekt and C-Jay have advanced rapidly in the music scene, signing up for Radio City Superstar competition and being invited to play in the Radio City Tower. They reached the final of the competition, where they performed in Liverpool's Koko nightclub and achieved second place. They are now working with Steve Cocky, Lee Butler and Christian Davies, and have been signed by their label InDemand Music. Six tracks for their debut album are already recorded, and a debut video is in the pipeline. Click22 are moving fast, and as far as they're concerned, this is just the beginning. Catch them if you can.
