In this episode, Nate interviews Dr. Christie Petrenko, a researcher at Mt. Hope Family Center at the University of Rochester. Recently she and her team published a paper which explored if parents' views of their children's behavior (intentional vs. "brain thing") influences how parents prevent behaviors and how it impacts their parenting success. All children involved had an FASD.
