Have you been told physical activity/sports aren't your "thing"? We've all been discouraged at some point or another but one fact remains, we have a body and there are so many positive benefits of exercise that support our daily lives and our passions. We connected with Tara to talk about her physical health and her mental health. Listen with us as she shares the start of her health journey with fitness and how she naviagted her Trichotillomania diagnosis. Like what you heard? Share this episode with someone you think can benefit from this information Learn more about us - theContinua.com About Tara: Half-way through high school, Tara moved to LA from a rural town in southern New Jersey to write songs and perform. Tara is a Folk/Americana singer-songwriter that puts a spin on cosmic country with a songwriting style that evokes a darker, more mysterious edge. Tara’s sound is deeply influenced by Cosmic American Music, fathered by Gram Parsons in the late 1960s and popularized by Linda Ronstadt and Brandi Carlile. Her lyrics allegorize a gamut of lived experience from heartache to mental health awareness, creating modern folklore that is all her own.
