In this episode, I have a courage conversation with Ashley Newberg. Her passion is for childhood and for parents. Ashley is on a mission to help parents to be able to enjoy parenthood while their kids are enjoying childhood.
Ashley talks about one of her most courageous moments of going through intensive therapy, where she learns that there's nothing wrong with her. This moment was the foundation for her transformation into the Mom, leader, and the impact she is making today. She discusses growing up being afraid of speaking up and asking questions. She discusses a failure she had as a foster Mom, and how hope gave her the courage to be vulnerable.
Ashley Newberg is a life and parenting coach who supports parents in bringing more ease, connection, and joy into their families! She teaches relationship-based parenting and specializes in radical unschooling, inner child work, developmental trauma, natural living, and highly sensitive kids and parents. She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups to support parents in crafting a more effortless parenthood that creates space for everyone in the relationship to thrive.
Ashley is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and enjoys living an outside of the box life with her husband, three daughters, and a dog named Faraday. She and her family love creative expression through crafting, music, movement, art, and play. When she’s not coaching, writing, or speaking, Ashley can usually be found nursing a toddler while listening to someone talk about Minecraft.
