Joey (Katie Holmes) returns to Capeside for the summer and is taken back in time as she reconnects with Dawson in his bedroom which is now recreated to look like their teenage years.

Jen (Michelle Williams) invites her mother, Helen (Mimi Rogers), to Boston in hopes that Grams (Mary Beth Piel) will tell her daughter of her cancer diagnosis. Jen also initiates Jack (Kerr Smith) and CJ (Jensen Ackles) to dinner for moral support.

Audrey (Busy Phillips) says goodbye to Joey as she stays in Worthington for summer classes.

While Stephen was getting emotional at all the easter eggs and nostalgia, Jayme suspected that JVDB was getting high in this episode. 😵‍💫 We also catch a glimpse of the Joey foam head in Dawson's bedroom.
