In this densely packed, overstimulating 127 minutes, we’re shot into the 23rd century where Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich have the fate of the world in their hands. Nobody talks to himself on film like Bruce, and just like in Diehard, his character helps us feel grounded in this strange, scary world where a Supreme Being is the only hope to save humankind every 5,000 years and cruise ships are still considered a luxury vacation.
