The Seattle Sounders were one of the first MLS clubs to have massive support and one of the first teams to average huge attendance numbers in a football stadium. They regularly have 50-60,000 people in attendance to watch games at CenturyLink Field and have lead the league in Average Attendance since their introduction into the MLS until being eclipsed by Atlanta United in 2017.
Seattle was the First MLS club to truly show that Soccer had arrived in the U.S and that it was going to be supported wholeheartedly. Everything from their Fan Support to their Fan Culture from Tifos, flags, songs, and raucous behavior.
