For this debriefing, we are happy to announce that we are on the last leg of our contract. We're excited to start our next journey, not having to worry about being floated to another unit, and getting enough sleep! Sometimes we just go with the flow and face the uncertainties of nursing.

The theme for this contract was adapting. We were floated a lot, take into consideration that we've worked ICU the majority of our careers. Getting floated to med-surg, oncology, tele, DOU, and ortho really taught us how to adapt. Each unit has different expectations and priorities. We also floated multiple times a shift usually to admit a patient or two. We had to adapt to not knowing where we'll be for the night and for how long we'll be there for. All this floating has made us more resilient but lets try to not do that again 😅
