The ‘90s was a bit of a simpler time. Sure there was an abundance of technology like video games and cell phones, but they weren’t as prominent or flashy as those found today. Nowadays, the video game industry is considered huge, and it’s difficult to live without a smartphone—at least for younger people.

With the prevalence of DLC, patches, and graphically-pleasing tech, several ‘90s kids, like myself, can’t help but pine for the olden days. But what exactly do we miss about ‘90s gaming?
