Soap superstar Mary Beth Evans may just be the hardest working woman in daytime. On the heels of recently reprising the role of Sierra on As The World Turns, one last time, Evans is set to return to her breakout role as Days of Our Lives' beloved Kayla this fall, but that isn't the only thing she'll be doing as the leaves begin to fall. Evans is also starring in and producing one of the most highly anticipated web soaps ever—The Bay.

On today's episode of Daytime Confidential, Luke and Jamey talk with Evans and Gregori J. Martin, the prolific creator of The Bay. The enterprising duo provide a sneak peak of The Bay's dysfunction-yet-delicious core family, the Garretts, headed by socialite Sara Garrett (Evans). Evans reveals how Martin's intricately-woven back story for the characters he created hooked her on The Bay's mythology, and caused her to decide to sign on with the project.
