Michelle Sheppard is a leader in the realm of gender equity. Her own path as a transgender woman has given her a unique perspective, providing her with insightful insights into the complex issues of gender bridging. In recognition of her extraordinary contributions, Michelle was inducted into the Victorian Museum of Women and honoured with a coveted spot in the 2023 Victorian Honour Roll of Women as a Change Agent. In today's episode, Michelle and Nelly GET AMONGST IT: her two young marriages as a "Mid-West Gentleman" and then later, dating as a trans woman. We talk about some shitful experiences on the dating apps and, some good ones (spoiler alert: she found her sweetpea there). Nelly and Michelle take a call on how to talk to kids after divorce (TW: family violence is mentioned) and ultimately, how to keep the focus on the kiddos.
