In this episode, we speak with Professor Dr. Charles E. Ziegler. He holds a doctorate in Political Science and teaches at the University of Louisville focusing on areas like Russia and Eurasia and the Politics of Oil. He has held fellowships from the Council on Foreign Relations, Fulbright Program, IREX, and Hoover Institution. Recipient of several prestigious awards himself, he is the Faculty Director of the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order.

His recent books include Civil Society And Politics In Central Asia which released in 2015 and The History Of Russia that came out in 2009, in addition to over a 100 scholarly articles.
