Importance of a Podcast Intro

I don't know about you, but when listening to podcast sometimes the introduction will turn me off. I don't like profanity, alot of ha ha and hee hee giggling or loud background noises but that's just me.

The introduction to your show and to your episode is so important. The intro is what will determine if a listener will continue investing their time into listening to the rest of your show. Remember that you only get one chance to make a lasting impression so it's important to nail it quickly.

Remember my podcast episode, “Hook em and Book em”? You have to convince your listeners to invest their time and if you have failed to impress them with the introduction, you'll fail to capture new listeners and grow your show.
