Borderlands 3 was just released and one of the big criticisms came from people who felt it was just more Borderlands. This led Nathan to ask a serious question about keeping a game series from innovating their formula while not alienating their fans. Can it be done? Who did it well and who didn’t?

We run the gambit of talking Magic The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Borderlands (as mentioned above), World of Warcraft, Dead Space, Pokemon, Final Fantasy and (yes) Monopoly.
