During the beginning of the gay erotica film explosion, J. Brian was already near legendary as a well known photographer of naked young men. Once he picked up a film camera, he made a handful of significant films that are classics today. Brian’s Seven in a Barn satisfies an an authentic artifact of early gay cinema made especially interesting because of its use of scripted dialogue and sound. Porn star Dean Chasson may be the most prolific gay pornography star you have never heard of. Chasson’s career began in 1969 and was mostly over but the time every household had a VCR.

Brian, the quintessential San Francisco filmmaker known for his photography, films and notorious escort agency, his film Seven in a Barn and lastly, gay porn star Dean Chasson, a gay porn model who came to prominence during the late 1960’s and continued his career into the 1990’s before disappearing completely.
