Lead Boldly: How to Coach Others to Greatness with Hugh Blane My guest today is Hugh Blane and he is the President of Claris Consulting, a Seattle-based firm specializing in business strategy and leadership coaching. Known as the "Talent Alchemist," Hugh helps organizations solve challenging issues and transform potential into results. He's an accomplished author, with books like "7 Principles of Transformational Leadership" to his name. Hugh's journey is as fascinating as his career – he emigrated from Scotland to the US in 1969, and his experiences during the civil rights era in Birmingham, Alabama, shaped his commitment to organizational change. A certified coach and former adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University, Hugh brings a wealth of experience to his work. When he's not transforming businesses, you might find him recounting tales of running with the bulls in Pamplona or spending time with his wife and their rescued Giant Schnauzer in Washington state. Hugh is also the author of Lead Boldly - How to Coach Others to Greatness and that book will be in front of me as we chat.
