In this first episode, I’m reviewing Tim Ferriss’ brand new book Tools of Titans. Since this is my first ever podcast, I spent the first few minutes introducing myself, and why I think my book reviews will be helpful.
As will quickly become obvious, I do not have any experience in podcasting. My goal is to get better each time.
As for this first podcast I review Tim Ferriss’s Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers.
In the podcast I talk about why I think the best parts of this book are the “Non-Profile Chapters.”
The book has about 100 individual profiles of sucessful people in the areas of Health, Wealth, and Wise.
I talk about some of my favorite “Non-Profile Chapters” such as 1000 True Fans – Revisited chapter, and Testing the “Impossible”: 17 Questions That Changed My Life.
I also note a few profiles out of the 100 or so individuals. For example, I talk about how Marc Andreessen says failure is dumb, and what I think of Reid Hoffman.
I also mention concepts I’ve heard on Tim Ferriss’s podcast called The Tim Ferriss Show. (for example, Tim recently spoke about adding a much-needed index to Tools of Titans – Here
You will also learn how this book is sort of an update to Tim’s famous book The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich
