In 2005, Warner Brothers unleashed CONSTANTINE, a big-budget adaptation of the DC Comics classic John Constantine, Hellblazer. The dark fantasy featured Keanu Reeves right after his Matrix tenure, Rachel Weisz, and Shia LaBeouf. Screenwriter Frank Cappello wrote the film over several years and under multiple directors.

A follow-up to the genre cult classic has been in development for nearly twenty years and was even officially announced by Deadline in 2022. Frank Cappello joins us on the podcast today to give us insight into what is happening with CONSTANTINE 2, why it's been trapped in development hell, and if fans should be holding out hope for the sequel.
