On 6th – 8th December 2013, thousands of festival goers will descend upon Subsonic Music Festival at Barrington Tops in New South Wales. Now into its fifth year, Subsonic Music Festival is only improving with age. This year, the headline act is none other than the legendary Nile Rogers, from disco-group, Chic. Nile has worked with so many amazing artists over the years, from Madonna in the 80s through to Daft Punk this year. If you're after tickets to the festival, Deep House Australia is an official reseller of Subsonic Music Festival industry priced tickets, please send us a message on Facebook for more details. Along with Nile Rogers, you can find an endless array of house and techno DJs at the festival, including DHA favourites Smallpeople, Klartraum, Eelke Kleijn, Siopis, Nico Stojan & Amir Alexander. But don’t forget the amazing array of local artists who make the industry in Australia what it is today. For example, you’ll find Ant Steep playing at the festival. Ant has been DJ-ing professionally for over 15 years, starting off as a ‘freestyle DJ’, playing any and every genre that was fun to dance to! Of course, he settled with an underground house sound, but like any good DJ he doesn’t limit himself when he’s playing live. Ant is also a producer, having released records on such labels as Music For Freaks, Morris Audio, Future Classic, Lightspeed, Freakshow Disco, Tom Bone,Odori and his own label, Fang Jnr Music. Have a listen… 1. Make love disco - Kalabrese 2. Make it acid – JKriv (Idjut Boys mix) 3. Happylock – Move D 4. The great Sgatmi – Art Of Tones 5. Can’t love you more – Deetron 6.
