Reality TV believe it or not has evolved somewhat over the years.
From social group experiments, to competition; reality TV eventually created the subgenre... hidden camera TV.
Often it was a joke or prank being carried out on an individual who would be able to laugh at themselves upon reveal. One show however, was no laughing matter for individuals who ended up being face to face with a network television anchor.
