Could you teach an AI to know the difference between a cat and a dog? Luke Oakden-Rayner can teach you how. He taught himself advanced computer science and math so that he could apply his medicine and radiology training to a PhD on deep learning applied to medical images. He’s not even too depressed to know that the technology he is developing will contribute to radiologists losing 90% of their work!
