We’re not outspoken; we’re speaking…the truth. Our culture doesn’t support women in the workplace effectively (or in some cases, at all), and it doesn’t support the men who are trying to operate and lead equitably, either. But let’s give the bulk of the credit where it’s due: there’s a significant number of men and women who don’t support change either, often in ways that are subtle and thus difficult to identify, let alone fix.

As a follow up to “Let’s Just Say the Things We’re Most Terrified of Talking About: We’ll Go First”, we’re getting even more vulnerable as we continue the discussion about the impact our still misogynist work culture is having on us personally, our friends, the industry, and society as a whole. And the biggest question on our mind: what happens if women simply opt out of the workforce altogether?
