Hello and welcome back to the time machine. Today we celebrate the fiftieth episode of the time machine by traveling back to 1948 and a new show Mr. Chameleon. Today we also celebrate over 15,000 plays, so I would like to thank you all so much for your support.

There is little known about this show, but the little I did find was thanks to Ned Norris at RUSC, so thank you for the information. Frank and Anne Hummert were the creators of this show and many other series, such as Mr Keen: Tracer of Missing Persons who we will get to hopefully later this week. Mr. Chameleon was played by Karl Swenson, one of the most popular radio actors of the time. Mr. Chameleon ran for 5 year on CBS starting in 1948 and only 20 episodes or so still are in the public archive.

The show is excellently acted, the themes are surprisingly mature, and Mr. Swenson does a phenomenal job of whatever character Mr. Chameleon becomes next. So please, sit back, relax, and travel back to July 28th, 1948 with Mr. Chameleon and The Brownstone Murder Case.
