Here is Ryan’s Road Map to become the First-Ever Drag-N-Drive World Champion presented by Summit Racing.

Before we dive into that, let’s recap what the First Ever Champion will win.

Corey Thompson currently holds the Points Lead with 110 points with his Class Wins at Sick Summer, Rocky Mountain Race Week and Race Week. He’s finished in the high 7s and low 8s at each event, breaking records at both RMRW and Race Week.

Ryan and Tami are going to have their hands full but it is possible. They currently have 72 points from Summit Racing Midwest Drags and Hot Rod Drag Week.

They will need to Complete the event (this is the first time they have attempted three events in a year) for 26 points.

Plus win their class for 7 more points - we haven’t heard which class they are running but the Unlimited class has seen high 4 second finishes.

They’ll need to finish with a 4 second average netting them another 4 points.

And lastly, they’ll need to reset their Class ET Average Record, which for Unlimited is 4.924 of Shawn Lewis from last fall. That nets them the needed final point….

If they can do all of that, they would tie Corey’s 110 points. With the tie breaker going to the Faster Car, they take the win since they have low to mid 7 second averages at Midwest Drags and Hot Rod Drag Week.
