Welcome all to the DrumQuig Podcast Episode 9! In this episode, we are joined by an absolutely incredible drummer and by the end of this episode, new friend of the show, Alex "Gator" Petropulos!
Full disclosure for this episode. There are some straight up fanboy moments. This was a big deal and such a fun experience!
Alex and I waste no time in the episode starting quite literally from the first second jamming out to our intro song. We walk through what got Alex started in music, how his journey has progressed, the call to audition for the band he's now been a part of for a decade and so much more.
So much fun was had on this episode. Alex took some time to discuss Pigeons Playing Ping Pong's new album "Day In Time" and just dove into the aspects of the album and being a musician in this day and age. Alex really gave some insight into what it's like and why he loves getting to be a in a band with the rest of the guys and the creative freedom aspect that the band embraces.
We also discussed touring, what Alex's ritual/guilty pleasure is while on tour, what the fanbase means to him and the band and so much more! Enjoy!
