• Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Islanders- Barry Trotz is the only person that can make boring hockey work.

• New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils- Did someone tell the Rangers that Game 7 was do or die? Certainly didn't seem like it.

Second Round preview!

• Seattle vs. Dallas - You know that sly feeling Seattle fans had of a sneaky upset in round one? Yeah, not feeling it this time around unfortunately. Hope they prove us wrong yet again.

• Vegas vs. Edmonton- Felt like this matchup was inevitable. This one is gonna be close.

• Florida vs. Toronto- Two teams buzzing from impressive first-round wins. On paper, it's the boys-in-blue that have the edge, but nobody should sleep on Matthew Tkachuk.

•New Jersey vs. Carolina- Youth takes on experience. Can Akira Schmid continue to impress?
