Zacchaeus is not a heathen because of his height or even his wealth. He is a societal heathen because his profession as a tax collector meant he would lie, cheat, and steal to get what he wanted. And among the liars, cheaters, and thieves, Zaccheaus was the Chief Tax Collector. Zacchaeus took a lot from others and in one interaction with Jesus, he gave everything away!
