Elevated Insights Episode 1 Information vs. Transformation.

This show focuses on the difference between professional development (learning information and modules and completing a course) vs. personal development (putting ideas into practice and bringing real transformation into your life).

Main concepts:

Angie talks about how every person she talks to that wants to be a coach says, “I want to help people”. People feel that they have been gifted with knowledge and they want to help people avoid suffering that they went through. It comes from a place of love. It comes from a want to help people transform. They don’t know how to go about it, because we have only been taught how to give information.

Angie talks about how we came out of school with a lot of information but not how to use it. Examples are given about money, and taxes, how to count and file etc., but not how to MAKE money.

Angie talks about the Industrial age, the age of learning to work together, assembly line putting things together, a conveyor belt of ideas etc. We needed all hands on deck to improve our life. Then we moved to an age of technology, we take this information and up-level it to our own creativity. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, making the world better through developing technology. We follow a pattern over and over again. These are patterns of energy, industrial, to technological period of time and THEN we finally move to the age of service. We are rapidly moving into this age. We are trying to birth a new idea of serving one another. Put information into the technology of ourselves to serve – the challenge is that we are in the age of service but still trying to implement it with information. People are tired of information!

People take courses over and over again with nothing happening for them because we are still in the mindset of learning information. It is not the same as transformation. People study the materials through the old thoughts of themselves and there is no change. People have to study themselves through the material which is the opposite of what we have experienced in the past.

We can live in all 3 places, past, present and future at the same time. Your results are shown in the past. We can observe things in the future in the quantum realm, this is using our higher mental faculties, the imagination being key. When we are learning information, we are not using our imagination. How do I engage my imagination and reasoning when learning new ideas? If you can do this, you can have the future feeling of you here in the present. We use feelings to describe the state of thought we are in. When we are living in the feeling, we are an energetic match to our future, transformed self.

We’ve gained so much intellectual knowledge we’ve lost our intelligence!
