Kara Kramer, owner of KSPT joins us in episode 22 to talk about living in a multigenerational household, and how it has truly changed not only her life but also who she is as a person. When Kara became pregnant with her first child, she and her husband made the move from Florida to New York to be close to family and live with her parents and sister. Her village was created as she embarked on her motherhood journey. Kara talks about how she had to change her mindset and ego around asking for help, and also let go of what people thought about her and her family living together. We talk a lot about having support and a community while raising a child, this is your inside look into multi generational living! Kara is now about to have her second child, and lives with her husband and daughter, mom, dad, two sisters, brother-in-law, and niece.
