Ian talks through emotional arcs within stories and goes into detail around the six most common types of story arcs1 (which also happen to be the same as Kurt Vonnegut's "Simple Shapes of Stories").

Ian then goes on to share about his story idea for National Novel Writing Month, and, for some reason, he goes on to rant about how Cinderella is a character that really hits rock bottom (I mean, come on...she dressed up mice as her friends).
