Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) is an exercise technique that has been heavily studied and shown to be beneficial, albeit, with little press. BFR involves using compression around the upper arm or leg and enables rapid strengthening with minimal weight. Additionally, combining BFR with traditional weightlifting and aerobic exercise enables the muscles to function like a giant endocrine organ.
