Summary
In this episode, I am joined by Sari Karplus. Sari is a storyteller. She is children's book author, director and comedian. We discuss how we want to write books that teach valuable and relevant lessons to our kids.
We discuss logistics of writing children's books, our journeys, and the surprises.
Sari shares motherhood taught her to learn to "surf the chaos" (like parenting in a pandemic) and the importance of problem solving! She also shares how she learned to "parent to the child that she has" and learn priorities for each particular child that she has. Overall, the conversation highlights the joys and challenges of motherhood and the creative process of writing children's books.
