One aspect of becoming more conscious about your purchases is thinking twice before buying certain home cleaners and cosmetics. We find it incredibly important to make purchases that are in alignment with our values of kindness, compassion, and health; however, we are both still transitioning out of a few products that we no longer want in our homes. In this episode, we discuss the differences between the labels “cruelty free” and “vegan,” the importance of consuming products with ingredients you can pronounce, how to get rid of products that no longer fit your lifestyle, and all the specific brands and products we personally buy and stand behind. (We are not sponsored by any of the companies we mention and simply want to support these brands.)
