Today we are joined by Judi Gevara, the founder of Bloomsake, a Houston-based flower preservation company that offers unique keepsakes for occasions such as weddings, funerals, graduations and more. Judi first started in the wedding industry, managing a local bridal boutique. She loved being able to be a part of the bride's big day and she began hearing a similar request: how could they preserve their bouquets after their wedding? So she began experimenting with the idea of casting them in resin and tried it out on her friend’s bouquets. The news of her service quickly gained popularity, and when COVID-19 hit, Judi decided to turn her side business into her full-time job.
