This week, I am joined by Laura Martin who shares the emotional story of her experience with sexual assault and her spiritual journey to healing. Together, we also discuss: • How the Atonement doesn’t just cover sin, but pain, sorrow, and sadness as well. • How important it is to know that, in a case of sexual assault, it is never the victim’s fault. • That there is a need to change the general dialogue in the church in regards to sex, chastity, and purity. • That God’s love is unconditional and that, no matter the sin or circumstance, anyone can be made pure again.
