Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. once said that "Riots are the language of the unheard" and in April of 1992, the black community in Los Angeles felt very unheard. The Previous year in 1991, 25 year old Rodney Glen King had been involved in a high speed chase. Noticing the spot light from a helicopter, Rodney realized that things had quickly gotten out of hand and, ended up pulling off Interstate 201, onto the right hand shoulder of Foothill Blvd. What followed was caught on video, by a nearby resident named George Holliday..... and the world would see one of the most horrific beatings, that did not result in death. By some miracle, Rodney was not killed, but doctors would say that some of his bones had been so pulverized that the looked like grains of sand...

13 days after this, a 15 year old black girl named Latasha Harlins, at the request of her grandmother, had gone into a corner store to pick up some orange juice for her and her siblings, Latasha walked walked to the front counter with $2 in hand to pay for the 1.79 orange juice, again, this interaction was caught on film, the store owner seemed to have believed Latasha was going to steal the juice, despite the cash in her hand, after a short but intense interaction with the store owner, Latasha tried to walk away. The store owner would pull out her gun, and end the life of a 15 year old child.

When Latasha's killer got off, with community service and a fine, the black community was horrified, and when the 4 officers who beat Rodney, nearly to death, were acquitted, they had had enough, and with in minutes the riots would begin. They would last for 6 days, leaving some neighbourhood, reduced to rubble.

This is the case of the 1992 LA Riots.

Send us a text Louise and David Turpin, from the outside look like they have it all. They met when they were young, David had a great paying job, they were able to treat their friends and family to the finer things in life, when they would come and visit, for weeks at a time, but mainly, they continued to be blessed with baby after baby, just like they had wished for. And, to the outside world, and Facebook, they seemed like the perfect family. The kids looked so well behaved, they all looked happy, Louise appeared to be a super mom. But, behind the annual pictures that would go up on Facebook, was an unspeakable nightmare. Those, once a year photos, were also the only chance that the Turpin children were allowed to bathe, and put on clean clothes, their parents would often purchase food, new clothes, and toys, but would forbid their 12 kids fro touching any of it. And if anyone did try to break one of 'mother' or 'father's rules, they would be punished, in unthinkable ways. The eldest Turpin child, Jennifer, was the only one who ever went to a public school, and that would only be allowed from grade 1-3. But, she would try her best to pass the little bit of knowledge that she did have to her younger siblings. As far as the rest of the children were concerned, this was just how life was supposed to be.... Send us a text Mark and Jennair Geradot met in the summer of 1986, while Jennair was working at a Taco Bell in Indiana. The two would go on to date, and would marry in 1990 (with the exception of one break up when Mark had found himself smitten with another girl, but Mark had made her the promise that he would never hurt her again. After 24 years of marriage that, for the most part was loving, but was peppered with bad times, epic fights and financial struggles, the couple was about to move from South Carolina to Delaware, where Mark had been offered a creative director position at The University of Delaware, Jennair would stay in South Carolina for 45 days, to get their affairs in order, and lease out their home. During this time, Mark found himself really enjoying the company of his much younger boss, Mereditch Chapman, and Meredith was very impressive, so who could blame him? The only proble was, Mark found her impressive in more aspects than just professionally.... When Jennair joined her husband in Delaware, she knew instantly that something about her husband had changed, and she asked him point blank "Is it Meredith?" which Mark would initially deny, but Jennair became a woman obsessed, she would sew recording devices into his clothing, put trackers on both of their cars, she paid a company to have his phone cloned, and she would even buy a DNA kit. Jennair was determined to try to get her life back, and if she was unable to, sadly, she would ensure that Meredith wouldn't have it either. In todays episode we will listen to the evidence against: John Mark Karr , the man who was extradited from Thailand after a recorded conversation, where he admitted to an employee of the Daily Boulder Camera, that he was the one who killed JonBenet, but it was an accident (with this sicko, please take this trigger warning, you are going to hear one of the most vile quotes you will ever hear!) We’ll touch on Sandra and Bud Henderson, who owned a business called Henderson Technology, John Ramseys company Access Graphics would supply Henderson Tech with equipment, and in hindsight it is a huge red flag that Sandra took a job —-technically, she took a job working for a company that Johns ended up merging with, and therefore would end up working for Access Graphics—, and would eventually be responsible for billing her own company, soon after the merger, Access Graphics ceased business with Henderson Tech, as it was discovered that Sandra was altering the Henderson account, and they owed Access 145,000$- Sandra was of course, fired, ordered to pay back money, served time in prison, and all this, naturally put a strain on Sandras marriage, leading to a divorce in 1995. Was this enough motive to kill a child? And for the last suspect in todays episode, we will discuss Bill McReynolds, who is one of the most well known suspects, because this was the Santa Claus who had been hired for 3 Christmas’s in a row, to play Santa at the Ramsay’s ‘kid’ Christmas Party. And, strangely Bill’s own daughter had been kidnapped back in 1974…..on December 26th…. His wife Janet had also written a book, in 1976 about a 16 year old girl who was tortured and killed and found in a basement…..is this all just a coincidence ? This is Part 3 of JonBenet Ramsey. Send us a text There's so much to this episode, it is hard to capture it in a paragraph, but this is basically the aftermath of December 26th 1996, how John and Patsy, did they selves no favours, and likely added to the public's perception of them. And, while they weren't helping themselves. The Boulder PD was salivating at every misstep they took, because it was making their job even easier. We will go through, what i call the leaders of the two separate camps. Steve Thomas who was an investigator, who was asked to come over from being an undercover narcotics officer. Steve got lazered in on the ransom letter real quick, and believes, till this day that Patsy Ramsey, just newly in remission, from having Stage 4 ovarian cancer, awoke, to find 6 year old JonBenet had a bed wetting accident, causing Patsy to lose it, and take it out on the child...... even though her sheets were not soiled..... The other leader is Lou Smit, who was asked to come out of retirement to help with the case, only to resign 18 months later, and for the rest of his life, he would work towards finding the intruder, who he believed with his whole heart was responsible for this. Lou, passed away in 2010, and until the day he died, had a Christmas tree and and picture of JonBenet in his office, so that he would never allow himself to forget about this case... and even since his death, he has passed on his extremely well organized 'torch', so to speak. TRIGGER WARNING!!!******* I think, probably nearly every knows a bit about this case, but in case you do not, this case will involve the torture, murder and sexassualt of a 6 year old child********* To start the year off, I want to put it into the universe, that 2025 is going to be the year that we finally figure out who, took JonBenet out of her bed on Christmas, and ended her life. I went on a hard deep dive with this case, more so than any case in the past, and I wanted to see things from both side; Either, The Ramsey, in some way, are involved in the death of JonBenet VS an intruder came in the Ramsey home is Boulder Colorado, and killed the 6 year old. I read the book: 'JonBenet: Inside the Ramsey Murder Investigation'- written by Steve Thomas who at the time was an investigator for The Boulder Police Department. On December 26th 1996, Steve was working as an undercover narcotics officer. A couple days after the little girls murder, Steve was asked to join 'The Ramsey Team'... They needed all the help they could get, after they had fumbled, so horribly at the crime scene. Steve Thomas would learn of the 2.5 page ransom note, which simultaneously, as little JonBenets body was being found, at about 1:15pm, The Forgery an Fraud investigator, at Boulder Headquarters, was finding that, this already strange ransom note, had been torn out of The Ramsey's notepad, specifically Patsy's. And then and there, Steve Thomas was certain it was Patsy, in a fit of rage, who had done this to her daughter. And he stands by his hypothesis, to this day. Till the day Lou died, on August 11, 2011, Lou fought to find the person or persons behind this crime. and after death his children have taken the reins with John Ramsey, and his eldest son, from his first marriage, John Andrew Ramsey and they are determined to have advanced DNA testing done, now 29 years later. He was wearing a sign that offered 'Free Hugs' and would be photographed in an embrace with a white police officer. People, would see it as a sign of hope, and just a beautiful photo. No one could have guessed the life that Devonte was actually living. He, along with 2 of his siblings, had been adopted by Jenn and Sarah Hart. Along with another 3 black children, who were siblings. And, the pain and suffering that all 6 children were going through, wouldn't be known, until it was too late. The child who was behind the photo dubbed "the hug felt around the world" was at the centre of a family, where 'love' was not something that was being received, despite how things looked from the outside looking in. Send us a text On June 30th of 2009, a discovery was made of in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. A vehicle submerged in Kingston Mills Lock, inside was the bodies of 19 year old Zainab, 17 year old Sahar, and 13 year old Geeti, with them was their fathers first wife, 52 year old Rona. It seemed all to have been a horrific accident. That was until, authorities were made aware, that the brother to the three deceased girls, 20 year old Hamed, actually had reported a car accident that he had been in, the same day that his younger sisters were found. When comparing the damage to the Lexus, that Hamed was driving, it was noticed that the Lexus's front end damage, matched up perfectly to the damage on the back of the Nissan Sentra, that his sisters, and stepmother were found in, and it became clear, that the Lexus, had been used to push the Sentra into the lock.....but why?
