Each expert provides a real-world case example from their practice and weighs in on the importance of educating all healthcare professionals on screening and management practices for use disorders. Listen as they discuss the complexities of addiction and patient care. One case focuses on a patient who is already receiving opioid therapy but has begun exhibiting signs of an opioid use disorder, and the other focuses on a patient who wants to try an opioid prescription but has several “red flags” in her history.
