Why is it important to look at our homes and our offices through an ergonomic lens?

Dr. Davis explains the impact of remote work from an ergonomic lens in this episode. We talk about human factors as they relate to built environments including homes - we work from home, we live inside the home, and as we grow older, we choose to stay instead of moving to retirement homes.

Kermit Davis, MD, is a Professor at the University of Cincinnati and a leader in human factors and ergonomics. His research targets reducing ergonomic stressors in healthcare settings, benefiting both workers and patients. With prestigious roles as past-President of HFES and Fellow of HFES and AIHA, he brings extensive expertise. Currently, his focus extends to virtual offices in the UK and US.
