Combating human trafficking requires the collaborative effort of trained specialists working together to conduct investigations, prosecutions, provide prevention and intervention programs, while at the same time assessing and providing a broad range of services for victims of trafficking. It is critical that all participating agencies be educated in successful anti-trafficking efforts and develop a coordinated plan within each community. This show will educate you about how task forces are formed, the role of each collaborating agency, including local law enforcement, federal law enforcement agencies, federal prosecutors, District Attorneys, departments of social services, public health, mental health and local offices of education, while also working closely with shelters and safe houses to address the needs of victims.
